Don't get complacent about Hillary winning

We also need a Democratic Senate and House. (Remember the Supreme Court)
It would also help to elect Governors and state houses.

So regardless of any lead Hillary has and gets, YOU MUST GET OUT AND VOTE!

Far too many on left of center have bought into RW's campaign if slander against her. Center-right who don't want Dumpf may vote Libertarian; Berniebots who've bought RW BS & DNC 'rigging' have abandoned pragmatism & threaten to vote Stein it write-in Bernie.

#VoteBlueNoMatterWho — absolutely everything progressives care about is at stake.

Not personally directed at the OP but this message is posted dozens of times every day and appears in some guise on about every thread showing a good poll or EV projection, and it's gone on long enough unchallenged. It's all based on a thoughtless stupid assumption for which there is not the slightest evidence either here or (about a billion times more germane) in the Democratic Party and their candidate's campaign.

For fuck's sake everybody over the age of 6 and/or IQ of 80 knows the difference between the probability of victory and the means to achieve it. Did the US basketball team yesterday fear and dread a pending shellacking by China? Of course not. Did their sure and certain victory cause them to field a team of 3 players or forbid them to move over walking pace? Of course not.

Have we seen ANY indication the Dems are doing this? Have they stopped raising money? Have they stopped ad buys in swing states? Have they closed field offices in OH PA and FL? Have surrogates stopped attacking Trump for his idiocy immediately? Of course not to all. Even here on a barely relevant backwater of the internet peopled mostly by the leftward edge of the party (hold the poutrage and check those 90/10 Sanders polls in the search function) where you might expect some deadender ratfucking which, I might add thankfully, is both gratifyingly sparse and quickly squelched, do we see threads with hundreds of recs calling for even permissible complacency such as Clinton saving money, or "toning down" responses to Trump, or staying out of pale red states? Fuck no we see the exact opposite - suggestions that she chase freaking Georgia for Chrissake, that she go on the attack more against the sputtering yam, that she drive hard to GOTV among traditionally poor turnout blocs, even overwhelming approval for her drawing support from the few sane GOPers left. Amongst ourselves we see GOTV calls and stories, tales of arguments with RWers however bouncy ball they may be, plans to volunteer, and vigorous defense/offense in daily talking points.

So where the living fuck is this complacency just because people can read polls, understand EV maps, recognize a willfully incompetent Rep "campaign" and a blithely offensive Rep nominee, and comprehend election dynamics? Of course some part of that clusterfuck of a campaign will get a bit better at times. How can it not? Of course the complicit media will make, or pretend, a close race as November nears. Again we're back to only idiots not seeing this. And again only idiots don't know how to react when that happens. There's not THAT high a ratio of idiots here, and a fuckload lower ratio in Clinton's senior team. A little credit would be nice.
