But every time I see his name scroll by on the "Latest Threads" page, I think it has something to do with a mosquito-borne virus.

Too bad more journalists don't possess the nerve to speak out.

even after viewing because he's very good at explaining things, and does not just like listening to the sound of his own voice. For those who don't like him on this board, I never understood why. I know why the Repubs wouldn't like him and that's because he's smart.

He did a show on trade which I thought was very good, and I thought he explained the issue very well. I know that a lot of Americans don't like trade and want to go back to the days when we manufactured 90% of the worlds exports even though we were only 5% of the world's population. Unfortunately, that ship has sailed, and those people who make up 95% of the world's population and many of whom used to work in rice fields and jungles are 'moving on up to the eastside' and America is going to have to come to grips with that reality. Technology has displaced more workers than trade and instead of politicians distorting the truth or failing to educate people on the truth, we will fail to address the real issues, because "we can't handle the truth".

If we want to become a protectionist society here in America, we can do that. But just remember, 95% of the world's population is outside of our borders and growing. Apple recognizes that as well as the rest of the 1%ers who are chasing that 95%. It's what are we going to do about the problem that we have to decide as a nation. Are we going to build a wall around ourselves and keep us and our products here for just us. That's could be a solution we choose, where everybody has a good job and a good income, for right now. But as those formerly 3rd world nations figure it out for themselves, they will want to keep a larger share of the pie for themselves leaving less for outsiders, and that doesn't make them wrong, they will have evolved.
