2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumDemand from your Congress person and answer about Trump
I have made mention of this before, but I think it is important.
I live in a rural district. Just took a drive and saw a lot of support for the incumbent Republican rep.
I have emailed her 5 times asking her if
1. She supports Trump for POTUS
2. Why?
3 Asked her NOT to as her constuient.
4. Asked for a reply 2 my first 2 questions.
Be polite!
I am sending this email every business day till I get an answer.
If it takes more then 2 weeks for an answer, then I am writing a letter to the editor of my local paper.
I am asking all of those here to do the same. Put pressure on your republican Congressperson
We all have a responsibility to our country to elect a sane, rational person to the presidency.
Republicans have to take responsibility for those that they unleash on the public.

(12,157 posts)In June he refused to endorse Trump. After Pence as VP he changed. I asked him why I should trust his judgement as my representative when he showed such poor judgement in this matter- since most VPs are a ceremonial post. Past emails to this guy have always gotten the boiler plate form reply. No response in over a week now. I guess he doesn't want to face the truth.
BTW I would never vote for him because he is a lying little twit, but he is suppose to represent all the people of his district. (Fat Chance)
