Trump says something outrageous... and that becomes the new low... he has to say something even more outrageous to get press on it.

So one day he says "2nd amendment people can correct the outcome of the election to prevent Clinton from naming supreme court justices" and the next day he says that Obama and Clinton founded ISIS.

The press drops the "2nd amendment" comment and starts chasing the new shiny thing.

Trump doesn't say anything MORE outrageous and the press says "oh, maybe he has turned over a new leaf" and shows him is faux cabinet meetings (with no audio, of course) and trumpters coming on to say "oh he was so engaged and knowledgeable".

The race is going to tighten up a bit. But Trump may lose his white supremacist base later this week if he backs off of deporting all undocumented immigrants.

I think that was what was missing before this latest flip-flop
