major debacle

What is "the wrong thing" that Donnie regrets saying?

Considering the chatter floating about that he will backpedal on his promise to deport all undocumented Mexican immigrants later this week, the the vast majority of which he said are bringing drugs, bringing crime, are rapists, and some, he assumes, are good people, that is where I would put my money.

Could it be that we will be treated to a live, primetime Mea Culpa this week?

He revealed, over & over, the real Trump—racist, bigot, fascist, misogynist, narcissist, conman.

What he regrets is that rational folk recognized his defining characteristics right away.

He is desperate for a gentle guiding hand to lead him to greener pastures and higher poll numbers. It should be very interesting to see how Trump unfolds in the coming week.

Do you think Trump operatives read DU? I hope so.

by portraying it more as a tactic in a sales pitch. Any sincere regret felt would have been over statements he admitted caused him problems. If he even briefly did that.

This whole subject is a yuck. He is almost certainly incapable of feeling guilt, he's proud of never apologizing, and any "apologies" that could be extorted from him would be as insincere as any could be.

Dipshit donnie rewrote some of the speech on the "regrets" line. I bet she had something a little more in it. And he rewrote it saying regrets. The only part he regrets is the drop in polls.
