Hacked to show only negative videos for Hillary and positive for the Cheeto Benito.

Maybe more people will google than go to YouTube directly. Here's hoping, and also hoping that the Hillary campaign can get this problem resolved.

You're going along with a completely unfounded conspiracy put forth by people who don't understand the broad strokes of the YouTube algorithm. It's really not that hard to grasp.

In fact, my recommended list is almost all videos critical of Trump.

On a general YouTube search for "Hillary" her sweeping the electorals came up second.

I was getting Trump ads on YouTube and here (also NRA and tacky T-shirts) and nothing I did though Google would stop them. I finally installed Adblock and now only watch ballet and John Oliver on YouTube after a couple of days of reading comments on Trump unloading Play Doh (he's such a hero while Hillary napped and Obama played golf).

When I search "Hillary Clinton" in Youtube, I get a mixture of videos, some positive, but also a lot of them are about her health and just plain nasty. Probably a 50/50 mixture.

When I search "Donald Trump" in Youtube, they're all positive; a lot of them are about him wanting to help African-Americans.

There's definitely bias from what I'm seeing.

For Hillary, in the past I'd see speeches and positive material, for trump, his assholic racist mean attack stuff.

No longer.

that they are all popping up suddenly suggests that YouTube has a problem with Trump morons hacking the site. I have never even searched for Hillary-related videos on YouTube so the fact that I get a bunch of videos about Hillary's "illness" with low numbers of viewers (like maybe 1,345 viewers each -- not a viral video with millions of viewers) is definitely weird.

I've never searched for Hillary on youtube either; it's bizarre those would come up without a helping hand.

Literally zero such videos on the first page of hits.

That's hopeful too.

Also one from TMZ about her and Paul McCartney.

The others include everything from videos about the emails to her speech at the convention.

I confess to not really understanding how this sort of thing works, but I do know there are a ton of crackpots who post garbage on Youtube.

As anything. And for it to come up the day that Giulani tells anyone listening to go online and look for the videos. We need a rapid response that this is complete bullshit. I hope we can fight this breotbart tactic and show them as the lying cheaters they are.

With everybody's forbearance, I'm going to write a post asking DUers to counter the effort by typing "Hillary" and positive attributes in the YouTube search bars.

But we'd still be up against a paid digital army...don't know if we can make enough of an impact.
