They have an extremely diverse engineer and medical school which is why there were so many different racial ,ethnic and religious groups protesting Trump there

Also the reason there were 10,000 people who showed up to protest outside and blocked the streets from trump is because we have a great transportation system so people came from all over the city to protest . All they had to do was hop on the el or get a bus and it was advertised for days

Plenty of brave AA in our city yes withstood the jeers of trump fans and went into the convention hall it is true, and it was not just students , plenty of concerned citizens along with organized groups like BLM

Also there were large church groups and political activists on the scene outside also
A large contingent from the university students itself that went inside were Bernie Sanders voters that organized( and it was Sanders the trump campaign originally blamed but now AA fits their agenda )
but every day working folk by the end of the day were part of the people protesting in the streets along with the organized groups before the evening rally
