A clear and common practice.

Why do you hate America, Donald?

What's wrong with choosing us, choosing here, Donald?

Another great ad from Team Hillary!

I think the guy dodged a bullet on this one. People who work for Trump have a bad habit of ending up out of business due to his bad habit of not paying anyone.

You can't make America great by offshoring her jobs.

A long- sleeve dress shirt from New England Shirt Company retails online at about $100-110.

It looks like a Trump shirt new, was about $30-50, though I can't find anything current because it looks like no one is carrying his products any longer.

People don't want to pay $100 for a shirt, hell, they don't want to pay $50 for a shirt. Only a certain segment of the population gets $100 shirts and it isn't the working class.

Besides which, I would like to see an ad that does something besides knocking Trump. It's all too easy to attack Trump and avoid policy. Maybe after Labor Day.

Part of the problem is that we as Americans have been "trained' over the last 40 years to accept a throwaway economy. If you buy a $100 shirt, it may last 10 or more years; if you buy a $40 shirt, it may fall apart in 2-3 years, so you will buy 4-5 shirts at $40/shirt over the time a $100 shirt would last.
The same is true of most consumer goods sold today. I have a 25-year-old HVAC system that is still going strong. A newly-purchased one is expected to last 8 years or so.

People have been conditioned to look for "cheap' as their number one selling point, and many (if not most) don't realize that you end up paying more by buying shoddy (cheap in all senses of the word) goods that don't last and having to replace them over and over.

Just another aspect of the dumbing-down of America...

Lots of cheap (and cheaply made) clothing, low prices, but who cares? You're throwing it away after awhile anyway. An entire generation has grown up looking for heaps of cheap stuff. The retail mark-up on even cheap clothing is astronomical.

I'm with you - a $100+ shirt pays for itself. It's worth replacing the buttons, and can look better as it get worn. Good things age well. And you can feel like a human being in them.

You what a cheap Donald Trump shirt looks like? A cheap shirt. They had them at Macy's and looked awful.

If a person can only afford a $30 shirt, that's unfortunate, but I understand. But mindlessly going cheap is usually a bad move, both in terms of money and quality.

their shirts rip quickly usually at the elbows. Even if they use nice material, their quality of stitching is very mediocre

Many expensive shirt makers sell complete garbage at high prices. I'd be interested in checking out this made in america brand to see if they are better quality. It would totally be worth it if they have good stitching that lasts a long time.

And still do cost if you do not employ slave labor, etc.

I just wore out a shirt that I bought in 1985 - I paid $65 for it at the time. It sure lasted a long time.

Disposable "fast fashion" is not sustainable, and is dependent upon the exploitation of workers and trashing of the environment.

I think that it is an excellent ad, as he talks all about making things in the USA, but he does not make any of his products here.

I think that the real issues are that workers wages have not risen appropriately, or in tandem with, worker productivity.
