"GOP may be stuck with Trump for another decade"

Daily Kos: GOP may be stuck with Trump for another decade. This is rich!

The life expectancy of a New Yorker is about 80 years. Donald Trump is 70. It is a reasonable guess Trump has ten more years of life in him, possibly more. What’s Trump going to do for the next ten years, more or less?

He’s going to be on TV saying crazy shit, that’s what.

Trump isn’t going to be a sideshow, even after losing. Moreover, every time he goes on TV and says some crazy shit, it is the Republican Party that is going to have to deal with the fallout. This election cycle isn’t the last in which Trump is going to play a major role. He’s going to be a big factor until he drops dead. Television won't decline any opportunity pass to have him on, rest assured.

So, that’s what the GOP has in front of them. A crazy old coot running the party into the ground and keeping it there. That’s on top of a demographic tsunami and social attitudes turning hard against them. Pete Wilson on steriods indeed.

And, it couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of guys!!!!:

3. life expectancy doesn't work that way. given that he's already 70, he's likely to live to 90

give or take, assuming no significant health problems at the moment.

the average new yorker living to 80 includes many people who died before age 70, and trump is not part of that population.

you have to look at the life expectancy of all new Yorkers who survived to age 70, and the average for that population is higher than 80.

He seems to be a repeat offender where Theft of Services is concerned.
