2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumWhat do we know about Donald Trump FOR FACT?
He claims he's a successful business-man, worth $10 billion.
- Nobody has ever seen proof that he's worth $10 billion. Business-journals have to resort to estimating his worth, and the get to $3 billion tops.
- Is he a successful businessman? How much of his fortune is propped up by loans?
- What financial conflicts-of-interest does he have? What political conflicts-of-interest does he have?
- He said he will transfer his company to his children when he becomes President. What will happen to this money when Trump ENDS his turn as President? (Anybody with an iota of knowledge about economics knows that such a thing as future information doesn't exist: If you know what the price of X will be 4 years in the future, that doesn't influence your decisions 4 years in the future. It influences your decisions in the present.)
What is his health-status?
This statement by "his doctor" bears many hallmarks that mark it as a crude and hasty forgery.
Why didn't he serve in Vietnam?
He told stories how a high draft-number prevented his name from coming up and he told stories how heel-spurs prevented him from being drafted.
What do we know about him FOR FACT?

(231 posts)My son works as a salesman for an upscale flooring company. Donald Trump contracted with them for carpeting for an Atlantic City casino. Trump refused to pay the bill, and the company almost went out of business.
And yet, the managers of this company support Donald Trump for president.
