Note to Hillary: You don't have to respond to each and every idiotic statement

made by Trump. He has dug such a gigantic hole already that he is just sinking deeper. Stress what positive things will happen with a congress that works WITH a president. Let the Trumpster be the engineer of his own demise!

1. I'd say to just her and her campaign keep doing what they have been doing.

She will respond in the way that will damage Trump the most. Everything said is well thought out and has a purpose.

from national news coverage, letting them focus on Trump being Trump? He's on teleprompter now, doing much better, so she's back sticking forks in the orange gasbag where she and her team believe they'll do the most good.

He's going after "respectable" white voters, especially women, who want reassurance that a vote for him is not a vote for racism. And no doubt a fringe of conservative minorities who are far more sympathetic to him and dislike liberals so much they'd love an excuse to be able to vote for him too.

When he waves some papers in the air and claims, "I have here, in my hand, proof that Hillary Clinton is actually a giant space toad from Uranus," she doesn't have to produce an original birth certificate. She might say, "I don't know about Uranus, Mr. Trump, by I guess everybody has one." We need to laugh at this guy a lot more. Maybe "ridicule" is the right word.

We should all be running over to help push him/them off. No need to just let them walk off it. People like Ryan will then be standing there looking sane. We are crushing them as a collective through Trump. Clinton can do that and "Stress what positive things will happen with a congress that works WITH a president" at the same time. It isn't an either or situation.

I told her she is doing fine. She thanked me for the best advice she has ever, ever, ever received, and probably the best ever, ever, ever given to a presidential candidate I the history of the USA.

5. She seems to be doing just fine, really.

Lots of people are giving her advice. I'm betting she's listening to people who have more experience with campaigns than the typical DUer, somehow, and listening to her own self, too.

From what I can see, she's doing great.

and allow Trump to attack her at will without any response...we saw that with Kerry. You are wrong.

She has advisers to help her craft responses when necessary. But she seems to be doing fine. She could not respond to every idiotic statement anyway. The statements keep changing, just like his positions on other things.

I understand what you are saying, though. Spending all her time responding to Trump, putting out fires, would keep her on the defensive instead of getting out her own message. I think she is doing that, despite the media.

The reason Trump won his primary was the failure of his opponents to respond to him until it was too late.
