2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumHere's MY sage advice to Hillary Clinton regarding to her campaign:
Dear Hillary,
Please continue to do well, as you have been doing. Listen to yourself and to advisers with direct campaign experience. Pay little attention to those Internet amateurs who are telling you to back off on Trump. I think some of them may not be fully in support of you. Just a guess, of course, but I'd just keep on keeping on, as you have been, if I were you. It seems to be working very well.
Sincerely,
A DUer who truly wants you to be President

(18,652 posts)Do some trust-busting like Teddy Roosevelt. This Congress-mandated lack of competition in federal drug purchasing is KILLING the USA with out of control FANTASY pricing and payout for drugs; ditto for hospital care, doctors, diagnostic testing, etc. Stop it! There will be no more Medicare, Medicaid or O-care if this keeps going on. And then we will have the 1% getting medical care while the rest of us pay the fantasy numbers out of pocket along with astronomical premium costs, and we're back to the bad old days of losing our homes and retirement funds ---or getting no care if we can't afford it. Because the above progs will be gone.
I am very involved in this right now due to being a cancer patient and this is a HUGE issue and a SCANDAL the Democrats should grab onto and deal with, with Hillary leading. She knows this issue. Grab it, Hillary!
I saw one of my docs yesterday for a 5 min office visit. I'm sure he will charge $500, which is the going rate for an office visit in my area. The typical amount of time is 5-10 minutes/visit if, as a cancer patient, you're holding steady as I am and not getting worse. Blood work and lab charges are extra. Hillary, where are you?
