Jill Stein supports the torture and murder of gay people worldwide.

Today she called Julian Assange a hero for leaking documents. These documents have resulted in the torture and murder of countless gay and lesbian people, not to mention radicals, atheists, and many other people who don't conform to the brutal fundamentalist laws of dictators.

This is truly reprehensible. I admire ambition, but I also require it to be paired with intelligence, understanding and some sort of a clue. Dr. Stein seems to be sacrificing all decency and professionalism on the altar of her own ego for a position she is not qualified for, has no clue how to achieve and which she shall never attain.

I regret my vote for her in the last election.

I've been working, and defending the Dems my entire time as an adult voter, and even before then My private high school had an unusual number of Repubs, some of whom are my very best friends still. (Not all of them are crazy, for some it's just a bit too much Fox these days, we always agreed on most issues, they just didn't like Dems and being a non-self-hating, non-white, non-xtian, immigrant woman who's also of reproductive age, I don't like the GOP. Also our families staunchly share our political views, with one glaring exception.)

I've only voted Republican once, due to family loyalty (and knowing he's not an insane moron, just a banker who forgot he was brown with a funny name). Heck yes, I'm right there with you pushing for sane, reasonable polices, which are liberal and there is only one party that's doing that, and I'm fully behind them.

in her lifetime, because that's how magical Jill Stein is!

Release of HIV status is enough to provoke lethal levels of persecution, and those who actually have some concern for LGBTQ in the world, know very well that those interested in persecuting people don't much care what's "indicated", so I guess Jill Stein's support is "countless" since it seems to be zero for actual human beings who are at risk thanks to an egotistical anarchist with zero respect for human life.

Way to go, Jill you're pro-Rapist before Hillary and every other decent human being with some clue about what life is like outside her privileged white world in her small town.

Aug 2016

... is that the same people who complain about not wanting to have to choose between the "lesser of two evils" now support Stein - despite the fact that her entire schtick is premised on holding herself out as not being "one of those other two evils".

That's it. That's all she's got - no ideas, no solutions - just "vote for me, because they're evil, and I'm not them".

Reading the pro-Stein stuff on JPR is good for a laugh, though. The same folks who bitched about Democrats voting for anyone who has a (D) behind their name are more than willing to vote for Jill simply because she doesn't have a (D) behind hers. It's obvious they know nothing about her, what she stands for, etc. All they know is she's NOT Hillary, so that makes her somehow qualified for the presidency.

The fact that Stein thinks a despicable character like Assange is a "hero" doesn't even register with the self-declared progressier-than-thou - any more than the fact that Assange's behaviour has put innocent people, especially gays/lesbians, at risk.

It's all about being anti-Hillary for some. They aren't "for" anything at all, other than being perpetually pissed-off that their candidate-of-choice lost the nomination.

They think the MSM is badgering Trump 24/7 as a distraction from how badly HRC is actually polling.

They also believe that Trump would be a "much less dangerous" POTUS than Hillary because she is planning to start World War III.

Today's hot conspiracy theory on JPR is that "The Dr. Drew Show" was cancelled today because he commented on HRC's health a week ago. Seriously.

The absolute bullshit the JPR folks swallow whole is beyond amazing. There is nothing that is considered too ridiculous to be questioned, no less challenged in any way. Facts don't even exist.

We need the genuine, actual liberals who have sometimes associated themselves with Greens to come home to the Dem party and fight for liberalism, fight for progress and get strong progressive officials elected from small-town offices to state legislatures on up to our House and Senate!

The more liberal Democratic local and state offices we hold, the more liberal Senate and House members we have, the greater our voice in the presidency. We need to build and support strong progressivism from the bottom up, and we need to do it in the Democratic party if we want to actually realize progress.

liberals who are voting for her, are not morally superior even though they like to think they are. if your conscious allows you to vote for such an irresponsible person to hold high office, your politics and your morality and your intelligence is about the same level as a Trumpeters.

I often wonder how she sleeps at night. Probably hanging upside down in a closet with an intravenous bottle of kitten blood.

Neither claim should be done by people or a nation that exposes equality. Steins commentary was bad, but she's hardly the worst when it comes to supporting homophobic countries.

Better for the world that we focus the change towards our next leader, instead of giving Stein the attention that she wants.

Since Stein can't win, the only possible goal for her behavior is to elect Trump.

88. You implied above that she called these nations 'Heros'. She didn't.

You're trying to equate support of a person to support of nations, and thusly their actions. Thats a false equivalency of grand scale.

Railing on Stein for her 'support' won't do jack to help the LGBT communities in various nations - Holding our leaders accountable for calling such nations our allies however could force a change for the better. You might not want to face the truth, but calling these nations our allies does far more harm than calling a single person a hero ever will.
