agenda, ergo, the dumb statements from Priebus like this. He should have spent more time getting a nominee who is better than Trump, seems like the GOP has a chairman who is not able to provide the Republicans a viable fit candidate.

I once thought that Priebus was a bumbling, wimpy buffoon who had no idea how to handle the crumbling Republican Party and the Trump disaster. Those comments though are seriously grotesque in terms of strategy -- laughably stupid (the one part of her brain that works is the evil mastermind "part?" Lmfao) but also creepy in terms of how he is invoking archetypes. Of course they did the same with the president and even more viciously with the First Lady -- she was the "angry black woman" (which is a stereotype rather than an archetype but it was one of the evil symbolic ways they used to criticize her and in turn the president).

Priebus's statements are so idiotic and blatantly inconsistent -- but they are relying on the dog whistle stuff like the image of the "crone" (old, sick, mentally unhinged, etc) or the "witch" who --with her apparently incredible magical powers -- managed to conjure up the entire Benghazi situation/cover-up, etc. It is pathetic.

Since their own candidate is such an utter disaster they aren't even pretending to criticize Hillary on policy points. It is just the invocation of misogynistic archetypes that they think may actually influence some voters (I think it only appeals to the most rabid part of their base).
