If Trump Becomes President Will He Stop Doing Busness Wth Foreign Interests?

Will Trump "wind down" his business empire? Will he stop accepting investments from those in foreign nations? Refuse to accept credit and/or loans from foreign entities? Will he sell off his international properties so that threats against them can't be used to influence his foreign policy? At the very least will he resist all those who come offering him sweetheart deals and insist instead on paying above market rates to avoid any appearance of any conflict of interest?

Or does Trump plan to put all of his business assets into a blind trust controlled by his children with a word of honor fire wall preventing him from hearing about the deals they cut with Russian oligarchs?

Will the media even ask a tenth of the questions of Trump about the potential "pay to play" conflict inherent in an international business empire that profits him personally that they ask of Clinton when it comes to a Clinton linked Foundation that aids tens of millions in dire poverty?

I'm not sure of the answer to that last question. It is remotely possible that the media will ask Trump a tenth of the questions about potential conflicts of interest that they ask about Clinton. But only if he releases his taxes so that they find out what it is that they need to ask about.

2. There is great comfort in that probability

That of there being no President Trump. But there is no comfort to be had from media that falls all over itself "investigating" a well established major charity with open books while Trump gets off not even being asked about his business dealings with the world that he is allowed to keep secret.

he'd take the unstable contraption that is the global economy and push it right over the cliff just to see it shatter at the bottom. he's a completely irresponsible grifter. if he did continue to do business with Russia, i'm a bit concerned he'd try to shaft them bigly and they'd declare war.

as a businessman he's a mediocre con-artist. as a statesman he'd be pure poison.

6. Oh, of course. But his chance of becomig President requires tearing Hillary down...

And that effort of late has focused on pushing potential "conflicts of interest" between the Clinton foundation and her role as Secretary of State and potentially as President. If that is of such concern well those matters loom just as large if not larger with Trump. Bu no one challenges him on it.

5. No, he'll sell the US off to the highest bidder and figure out a way to make money off of it.

8. Trump literally DOES BUSINESS with them - to enrich himself. No charity in sight

No one is asking what business deal Trump is making now with people who may want to be on the good side of a potential American President - or what favors they might expect later in return. But like you said, Trump is a Republican businessman, so it is all good. Hillary is a Democrat trying to stop an AIDS epidemic, so corruption must be assumed.

10. I haven't heard it asked by anyone in the media

The Clintons are being badgered about shutting down fundraising for a charity that helps tens of millions. No one even knows what dealings Trump has with Putin's inner circle of money men for example, or what types of "pay to play" schemes his running for President now may have opened up for him personally, trading off of American interests.
