(59,501 posts)Apologize for RW site, it was the first I found and had numbers I knew. Gore got 79 % and Kerry got 74% ( a number where the exit poll numbers - the only source of the distribution - showed a Kerry victory overall - so they were scaled to make the numbers "add up".) https://www.aei.org/publication/the-jewish-vote-2012/
Gore was helped by Lieberman here.
You could also say that Trump is not doing all that much worse against Clinton than the standard Republican share of the vote. Note that Netanyahu and organizations like AIPAC have been blatantly siding against the Obama administration -- and this shows they are not increasing the Republican share.

(5,275 posts)This takes me back to the mostly Jewish district in Florida where the vast majority voted for Pat Buchanan...only because of the tricky butterfly ballot, they thought they were voting for Gore. It was obvious and would have swung the state and the election to Gore. But amazingly the in the tank for Dubya judge or judges, I forget, refused to switch the votes. A 5 year old could have seen what they meant to do and any idiot could figure all those Jewish folk were not going to vote for Buchanan.
Thankfully this will not be a tight election at all.
