Feeling sick about this country

If this country wasn't so ill, scared, and hate filled, Trump would be polling in the single digits.

Seriously...I don't think he will win at all, but the fact that the race is tightening indicates to me that we live in a very messed up country, and that's super depressing.

The media is hammering Clinton on every little manufactured scandal and Trump gets held up as a viable alternative and a comeback kid of sorts.

Why do so many people root for failure? Why do so many people live in a bubble of fear and ignorance so thick that Trump could possibly rise to this level?

Why are so many people that I know voting for the Green Party or the Libertarian Party this cycle when they voted for Obama twice? Don't they see what is at stake?

As you can tell, I'm having a rough night and I don't really want to live on this planet anymore.

Since they want this dangerous clown as president so badly, make sure we hold them accountable when this is all over.
Don't patronize them!

They have an agenda. They only want you to think the race is close so that you will keep tuning in. It's a numbers game...more people watching, higher ad revenue.

People tuning out before Labor Day must seem like a disaster to them.

Maybe a break is in order. You can always go back.

and others are so selfish, that they want to punish all who don't buy into their craziness.

Thankfully, most people are sane.

Trump was at 20-25% because I have enough experience to know there are sick haters out there always have been and I accept it
but 35-45% for Trump
Really is the country that insane?

Replies to me included some of it is Clinton hate as a factor and as you mention its every day some new non scandal .
I too am surprised at the anti Clinton pro Stein wave but that still doesn't explain the high Trump numbers
Some of them just want to see a fire burn I am convinced of that
Stick around you are one of the good people the planet needs . I will see this through no matter what but so much of this has been frightening to think about

And it doesn't help when alleged allies go along with it because they bought into the ridiculous and sexist Hillary hatred.

You must be looking at polls I've never seen. He's gone up a point or two this week. That is a normal fluctuation, within the margin of error.
