As per the salary cuts for Congress

that didn't happen, I have a question. Would that provision have to have been put into the sequester bill when they voted it in? I keep hearing Repub acquaintances using this salary thing to criticize the President, but was that really his fault they weren't included?

but by gum, their nests will stay well feathered.

Besides, they don't work full time, anyway. They've increased their pay while decreasing their hours on the job.

Damned pronouns.

The architect of this mess is our old pal Phil Gramm, who even came up with the Orwellian "sequester" name for it.

This belongs 100% to the Republicans, who thought hurting the country would make Obama come to his senses and gut Social Security and Medicare.

Obama, for his part, hopes that if the Republicans don't come to their senses and tax the rich by closing the most egregious loopholes, people are angry enough to throw the whole bunch of them out in 2014.

This is what is at stake and this is who is responsible for it.

It belongs to every asshole who voted for a Republican.

So he enabled the destruction of our economy, then gives it another sucker punch! So many evil players in the conservative cesspool.
