Senate votes 96-3 to repudiate Ryan plan for Medicare

Statement of Purpose:

To establish a deficit-neutral reserve fund to protect Medicare's guaranteed benefits and to prohibit replacing guaranteed benefits with the House passed budget plan to turn Medicare into a voucher program.

One could hope. Looks like Ryan has lost a huge amount of support even among Republicans. Good. It's about time.

Now if they could just stop trying to repeal the ACA.

it will be impossible to repeal outright. People will become used to the benefits and not even conservatives will give them up.

When all of them that have been working so hard to appeal it are up for re-election.

Maybe Ryan will be one of the ones that loses his seat. There's just something about him that annoys me.

There must be some kind of contest on to see who can embarrass Texas the worst in the shortest period of time, and Cruz knows that to beat Perry and Gohmert, he has a lot of lost time to make up for.
