Related: About this forumI just received a political call about a Republican who is telling people she's a Democrat.
We got a robocall a few days ago stating that a candidate is supported by the Democratic party.
Just now I got another robocall saying that she is NOT supported by the Dem party.
This is California where Dems are on the upswing so I guess Republican candidates are pretending to be Democrats in order to get votes.
Sheesh.

(36,453 posts)I was surprised how few repub candidates identify as republicans on their mailers. They don't claim to be dems, but their party affiliation is clearly missing.
They can't win on ideas & policy - only on lies.

(31,973 posts)Where I live the city is equally divided between Rs and Ds. Neither party's candidates identifies themselves in mailers.
