or 'No True Scotsman'. There are plenty of Dems who are every bit as venal and corrupt as their Republican counterparts. Running 'lesser evil' candidates ensures that that will be the case. We'd actually need some way (and the political will) to boot DINO's out of the party if we actually wanted to ensure that Dems truly were Dems.
