2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumFine. I'll say it. I will vote for Hillary or Elizabeth if either is the nominee.
But guess what folks..
Don't see it.. nada..
But if either one got the nomination, oh hell yes I would vote for them.
But just for the life of me, I do not see the movement for either one taking off.
And who ever is going to run, needs to get their hats in the ring fairly soon.
I expect the day after the election is November is going to be a fun one.. That is who we will start seeing vie for the nomination

(2,157 posts)Thats why we are all here, we share a common set of core values. While we may not always agree on candidates or issues, at the end of the day we are all Democrats.
Believe me nobody loves a good civil debate between Democrats more than myself & I encourage it because thats the beauty of Democratic Underground, it is a website for DEMOCRATS and even though we are bound to disagree, we can debate our opinions & we don't have to become hostile or smear each other because again, after the primaries are over and the general election begins we should all come together to support whomever the Democratic Nominee for President of the United States is.
The Teabaggers & Republicans are doing a great job at attacking our President, Our Party, Our Policies and yes even our presumptive Democratic Primary contenders.
Let's use our energy, our passion, & our resources to lift this party up, not tear it down, we all know the Republican smear machine is working just fine, we don't need to help the opposition...
we can do it

But I believe that choice will be Hillary. Elizabeth is awesome, but just not quite yet.
