This is what projection looks like. And denial.(CNN) An ardent critic of the Obama administration's foreign policy, Sen. Lindsey Graham labeled the President as "stubborn-headed, delusional" and "detached" over his decision on a U.S. reaction to the unfolding violence in Iraq.
The South Carolina Republican argued Sunday on CNNs "State of the Union" for more intervention in the country, as Sunni militant fighters ramp up attacks in the region.
"The stubborn-headed president we have, who thinks he knows better than everybody else, who withdrew troops and exposed this country to the inevitable, needs to change his policies quickly. If he does, we can still save this," Graham told guest hosts Dana Bash and Gloria Borger.
Stubborn-headed, delusional, detached president, he said.

(27 posts)is not learning from past mistakes - Vietnam. Delusional is thinking we have to keep troops in Iraq forever. Delusional is thinking things would be any different if we had left troops there for 1 more year, 5 more years, 10 more years. Just more dead Americans soldiers. And more corporate profit.

I wish Sen. Lindsey Graham R & his other R warmonger cowards would all move to Dubai with Cheney and quit making America a target of their wars. They could join-up with the other 'for profit' gunrunners and arm both sides for decades of profits.

It all reminds me of 1975, when the South Vietnamese "army" that we trained was scattering and disintegrating in the face of a determined assault by North Vietnamese forces led by Gen Giap. The old Vietnam hawks were at it again, trying to get us back into the war. Fortunately no one listened to them. And we should not listen to them now.
