The fact that he, up until the final call of the election and maybe even after that, believed he was going to win was surprising. I actually thought Mitt Romney was just trying to put on a happy face when he claimed he was going to win the election and had only written a victory speech. However, I think his problem was more arrogance and entitlement. For all his insults aimed at those who supposedly felt entitled he was the one who actually felt entitled. It seems he really believed he was going to be President because he deserved to be President.
