Supreme Court FOX NEWS Entertainment Media NOT NEWS

Supreme Court FOX NEWS Entertainment Media NOT NEWS

In February 2003, a Florida Court of Appeals unanimously agreed with an assertion by FOX News that there is no rule against distorting or falsifying the news in the United States.

Lawyers paid by Bill O'Reilly's bosses argued in court that Fox can lie with impunity.
It's their right under the 1st Amendment.

FOX asserted that there are no written rules against distorting news in the media. They argued that, under the First Amendment, broadcasters have the right to lie or deliberately distort news reports on public airwaves.

WASHINGTON June 16 2014— The Supreme Court agreed Monday to consider a classic free speech conundrum for the 21st century: When do threatening comments made on social media sites such as Facebook cross the line into criminal activity?

So Fox News and Crazy other GOP Web Sites can slander, lie and deceive but a person shouldn’t be able to vent in a Rant against such accusers without breaking some new law?

He still watches it constantly and cites it as a source when we talk about current events, which we now try to restrict to family news. Same with history. His version of historical facts is, shall we say, creative? A lot of my family is like that, and it saddens me sometimes, but I guess that's what friends are for: to fill the sometimes enormous gap between yourself and your family.

I think Faux's base just feels invigorated by the old ornery white men and likes looking at all the blonde bimbos. There's a lot of sexually-frustrated old men out there.

You're right about which demographic Faux Nooz appeals to, but you might want to go easy with terms like 'bimbo'. Unlike 'idiot' or 'moron, e.g., bimbo is very gender-specific, like 'whore' and 'slut', so it's best to avoid using it here.
