but I really hope he doesn't. Can't both parties wait until November? The day after election would be enough time for both parties.....it would still be 2-YEARS ahead of the Presidential election for goodness sake.

But theirs can't. I think they are in a lot more distress this November than they would like to admit.

Bailout for Wall Street?
Obamacare?
Obama will start coming for your guns any minute now?
The IRS-scandal?
Benghazi?
The VA-scandal?
The return of Bowe Bergdahl?
The timing of the capture of what's-his-name to support Hillary Clinton's booktour?
Violence in Iraq as a result of failed political strategies?

What is the republican rallying-cry? They have none. Without an issue, they have to run a person-focused campaign.

"No abortions, no same-sex-marriages and lower taxes" has not the same ring to it as "We will try to make your lives better."

life getting halted by the GOP, I do not see prolife, it is simply forced births. I don't think the most important thing the president of the US should be concerned about is women having choices with their bodies. Rand Paul follows the wrong platform, he is not good as a senator but would be worse as president. I am sure he will declare and I know we have had Paulbots here but there isn't much he can do to change the way I look at him.

Although if they DO nominate him, for lack of a more serious candidate, he'll still get well over 40% of the vote, because even a ticket of Stalin and Hitler would get 40% of the vote as long as they have an "R" in front of their names.

However, I can think of few things that would GOTV on our side more than the likes of this nut heading the opposition's ticket in 2016.

The nomination of another Bush or known criminals Christie/Walker. Seriously, if these guys and Randy are the top contenders for the GOP nomination, there is NO excuse in nominating Hillary "Ms. Electable with Goldman $$$" Clinton. A progressive candidate would expose their destructive philosophy for what it is too, without dancing around the edges.

RON Paul might be 90% crazy but I feel he's 100% genuine.

RAND Paul is another sell-out politician living off the cult following his father created.

I wish people like Bill Maher would realize that.
