Romney wants Hillary's 'Three F Plan'

By John LeBoutillier, contributor

Here is the dirty little secret of the GOP donor class, i.e. the rich establishment bundlers who funded the recent presidential campaigns of the Bushes, Sen. John McCain (Ariz.) and former Gov. Mitt Romney (Mass.): They are actively trying to recruit Romney to run again in 2016 — and Mitt is indeed interested.

Their first choice coming out of the 2012 election debacle was Gov. Chris Christie (R-N.J.), but his candidacy has virtually crashed and burned — despite his desperate self-denial. Other than his uber-patron, Ken Langone, the donors have moved on.

Many of these professional donors have hopes that former Gov. Jeb Bush (R-Fla.) will replace Christie as their guy, but there is one major problem: Jeb doesn't appear to have the fire in the belly and there is substantial doubt that he will, in the end, actually run. At least that was the word sweeping through emails and conference calls heading into mid-June's exclusive Romney-sponsored GOP ideas summit out in Utah.
The truth is that the entire Utah event was actually aimed at beginning the process of having Romney again be the candidate of this Establishment Money Machine — only with some severe, but reachable, caveats.

Romney spoke to this summit — and on Sunday morning TV shows — on "how to beat Hillary," without actually saying what many were thinking: "Mitt Romney is the only Republican who could beat her."

1. The GOP is desperate to have anyone decent to run, so far the decent people do not conform

to the GOP platform because the decent people are not radical. I am not so sure about Romney's ability to beat Hillary or several other possible DNC candidates. Yes, it is about beating Hillary and will probably remain this way.

It will be interesting to see if the repubs want to run that delusional loser again.

He is totally damaged goods. Of course, who else do they have?

Given all of the exposure he has been receiving as of late. I am currently at a loss to figure out why he wants to run for POTUS again and what his platform is.

11. Romney will need a lot of republican billions and plenty of personal assistants, nurses, butlers to

even come close to the power and awesomeness of Mrs. Clinton.

I've worked for older very wealthy people and some of them can not stand on their own 2 feet in public without tons of help. Different face in private. Others have the same awesome!! attitude in private they have in public.

From Romney's last 'run for the roses' it was very obvious he hid away from the public eye constantly.

13. He Lost!!

Why would he know what it takes to win? The GOP did everything they could to make Obama's 1st term a failure. It should have been an easy win for a half-decent Republican - Mitt was not that guy (thank goodness)

He wants all the money upfront & no competition - typical Mitt. Is he really in a position to call the shots? He lost!!!

We always have to be thankful when a couple billion of republican 'donations' are $pent in American towns & local businesses!

Maybe Romney will use his own personal money mountain this time!
