California was the 5th largest economy in the world. When they left, the 8th largest. I wonder why Daryll ASSa didn't investigate. So many telling e-mails here.

I have lost hope that him and the rest of them will ever be held responsible and brought to justice.

It's always good to bring back things to haunt the perpetrators and keep them quiet.

His career was destroyed and Cruz Bustamante is heard from no more because they were in the process of stopping the rape of California and they were Roved and electronic ballot boxes.

I remember it well. When this man dies, I will not be giving any condolences, because it would be a lie. He is one of the most reprehensible human beings among us. This is what he was doing (gouging American citizens for a basic need) when he should have been paying attention to all those reports and memos in the months leading up to 9/11.

back in 1990. I wasn't political at all, but remember being horrified at the way he seemed to get off in almost a sexual way when he was on the TV talking about smart bombs. It was creepy and disgusting. Apparently he gets some sort of sick gratification from spreading human misery if it means he will pocket some coins. Someone like that does not deserve any form of sadness or sympathy when they finally drop dead.

6. One of the first meeting Cheney chaired

was with a group of energy/oil/fossil fuel makers and shakers. The meeting was behind closed doors and to this day, no record of what deals were struck by Cheney and Bush.

"The Task Force was composed of Vice President Dick Cheney and the Secretaries of State, Treasury, Interior, Agriculture, Commerce, Transportation and Energy, as well as other cabinet and senior administration-level officials. According to the GAO, these members held ten meetings over the course of three and a half months with petroleum, coal, nuclear, natural gas, and electricity industry representatives and lobbyists. None of the meetings were open to the public and no non-federal participants were involved."

Article also points out that there was little doubt that the recommendations that were forged in these sessions were pro-oil (surprise, surprise).
