That indicates the candidate's potential to attract independent voters; the ones who essentially decide elections these days. Clinton gets 45% with Sanders at 19%. That could make a huge difference in a general election.

Horrible poll for Sanders. Clinton is beating him 45-19 among moderates. Clinton supporters have been saying all along that Sanders does not have the moderate support to carry a national election. As more and more people realize that, his numbers will either stall or sink further. I truly believe that Sanders will not cross 35% in a poll average nationally.
