Poll: Clinton leads big in Maryland among Democratic candidates

If Maryland's Democratic presidential primary were held today, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton would win easily, according to a new poll from Goucher College.
According to the poll of 300 Maryland Democrats, 43 percent said they would vote for Clinton, 23 percent for Vice President Joe Biden (who has not entered the race yet) and 17 percent for Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.

Despite spending seven years as Baltimore mayor and another eight years as governor, former Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley has barely registered with voters in his home state, as only 2 percent of those polled said they would vote for him.

According to the poll, 54 percent of Maryland Democrats think Hillary Clinton will win the nomination, 14 percent think Biden will win, and 8 percent think Bernie Sanders will win.
