A new batch of polls has started to show Hillary Clinton reversing a summer-long slide in the polls.
A slate of new surveys found that the former US secretary of state has seen a solid bounce following her performance at the first Democratic debate in Las Vegas, where pundits said she was more polished and prepared than her rivals.
A new Public Policy Polling poll released Tuesday, for one, found Clinton regaining her lead in New Hampshire, a state US Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont) has been dominating in recent months.
Among Democratic voters in the state, Clinton's support jumped to 41%, while Sanders' dropped to 33%. The poll also included Vice President Joe Biden, who had 11% support as he continues to mull a late entry into the race.

Democrats think Hillary Clinton is more trustworthy than Bernie Sanders

In the new Post/ABC News poll out on Tuesday, Hillary Clinton still leads the Democratic field.
As you might expect, therefore, Democrats also think Clinton is closer to them on the issues.
But this you might not expect: Clinton is also viewed as more trustworthy.

(8,682 posts)The number is well within the margin of error and therefore they are, at best, equally percieved as trustworthy.

(5,204 posts)Most people are going to choose the candidate they support for that. It would have been a lot more meaningful if they had asked separate questions for Bernie and Hillary. And I'm sure her overall (not just Democrat) honest and trustworthy numbers are bad, which doesn't bode well for the general election.
This headline isn't very honest and trustworthy.

Hillary is as slick as the BP oil spill, but that doesn't equate to a "strong performance"
tho' she's certainly in the running for an Oscar for some of her answers!

(6,933 posts)she remains a quivering heap on the debate floor in Vegas--the truth and authenticity having so overwhelmed her.
The problem is you think you are confronting this oger-ized, twenty-year-old caricature of a gold-digging political hack.
Now that Benghazi and Server-gate are fizzing out, you are faced with her decades of hard work and relationship building, her intelligence and tenacity, her flaws and her grace. Everyone knows her flaws, but her adversaries forget about her strengths--are blindsided by them because they dismiss them.
And then they get PISSED-OFF!!! Because she is winning.
