Veteran actor, anti-Obama troll James Woods has a new target: Bernie Sanders

Left-wing Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) has a horde of supporters in showbiz – from Will Ferrell to Sarah Silverman to members of the Red Hot Chili Peppers (see them all in the gallery above).

Now his Hollywood nemesis has revealed himself: Twice Oscar-nominated actor James Woods, who thinks Sanders is an “utter moron.”

The 68-year-old performer disagreed with a Bernie Sanders statement on Twitter about maternity leave. Sanders wrote Monday that “China – not exactly seen as a model when it comes to human rights – provides 14 weeks of maternity leave. The U.S. provides zero.”

In response, Woods had this to say:

What he's afraid of is a better world. Some people are so bought in to the Toxic Empire they can't even make their minds work right.

No one is saying because a country has maternal leave makes them a better country than us. And almost every country in the world has maternal leave, including some whose governments make China's look good, like Eritrea and North Korea.

but long ago I started thinking there was something decidedly not right with him, skeezy even. Now he is certainly allowed to have and voice his own opinion but we don't have to support his movies. I don't very often use entertainers political beliefs against them enough to not watch their art. Did Mr. Woods ever really have art? Not so sure.
