If Biden decides to run at this point, will someone consider him a spoiler candidate? (Original Post) redgreenandblue Oct 2015 OP
Spoiler, no. He will be inconvenient to some. Polls supposedly show his votes go about 2/3 to merrily Oct 2015 #1
Maybe, but what Democrat is going to vote for someone who compliments Cheney? OKNancy Oct 2015 #2

You can't be a spoiler in a primary - you're just another candidate vying for the nomination. cyberswede Oct 2015 #5

Hillary and 1/3 to Bernie.

For me, polling a candidate who has not announced against candidates who have announced just throws everything off in ways that cannot be known. Candidates who are well known but not actually running tend to poll higher than they do after people start hearing what they stand for and hearing the attacks on them. I look forward to his either being dropped from the polls or his announcing.

Obviously, if he did not want to announce at some point, he would have said so. He and his people are in the process of assessing his chances, including at fundraising. If they think he can make it, he'll go for it. If not, he'll stay with his family.

Sanders and Clinton supporters sure don't think Cheney is a "decent guy". I can just see the ads now.
Showing that quote and what CHeney has done.

Plus I also think most grassroots Democrats do believe that most Republicans are the enemy.
The enemy of women, minorities, the social safety net, etc. Oh and the right wingers with all their birther/Obama Muslim/whacko conspiracy crap.

No, Joe may try to spoil, but I don't see him getting more than 10%.
