The Republicans might not have been the enemy some twenty five years ago, but since Bill Clinton was elected president, they became increasingly recalcitrant and difficult, and now, after Barack Obama was elected, they're just out and outright obstructionist in each and every way, treating Democrats as the enemy. I believe it's only fair for Democrats to return the favor.

they're the enemy.

Joe is a fool especially when just this week they're attempting to ruin her with fake issues and a hearing that's a waste of time - just to hurt her.

If that's a friend I'd hate to see the enemy!

At this point Obama has zero respect for republicans. He has actually been pretty tough on them with rhetoric. Now this from Biden.

No matter how difficult and distasteful that is. Obama took a lot of flack for bending over backwards to do so, but I believe that contributed to his strength as a lame duck. Maturity is required if you're going to lead a nation, not petty grudges and personal dislikes. It is possible to hold two ideas in your head at the same time: "I know they are vindictive assholes, but I have to maintain a presidential bearing. Dignity in the face of assholery."

When and if she becomes president, she has to work to with the opposition - she said starting with 'day one", right. Until then she's running in a primary and the rules and expectations are completely different. the president has a different job than a Democratic nominee and everyone knows that.

If you ever forget how it is that the 1% keep winning at our expense, this right here is it: Create artificial divisions amongst the populace and watch them create mortal enemies of each other (while the 1% continue their theft).

Brilliant, bigdarryl, brilliant! You know who is the REAL enemy, LEFT HANDED PEOPLE!
