No, what has been exposed is a seeming chasm between supporters of the two leading candidates and the vitriol coming out of one candidates supporters is getting tiresome."

(14,195 posts)"One finds it curious that, although there is very little difference between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders, supposed Democrats attack other Democrats and liberal commenters as if they are enemies."
There are huge differences between Clinton and Sanders on policy, even tho Clinton has very conveniently chosen to mimic Elizabeth Warrens views as much as possible in the past couple months still wide chasms exist. Bernie is for the $15 minimum wage, Clinton is not.
Bernie is for reinstating Glass Steagal, Clinton is not.
Bernie wants to break up too big to fail banks, Clinton does not.
Bernie wants to expand social security, raise taxes on the wealthy, make corporations pay their fair share of taxes, Clinton is not.
Also bernie is not a warhawk, and Clinton is already rattling sabers at iran.

(9,527 posts)They really aren't that different, especially not in comparison to the eventual Republican nominee.

(1,681 posts)That 93% might lead to some similarities between Bernie and Hillary, but its the other 7% that shows the stark contrast between the two.

(11,366 posts)that's going to give us another corporate Democrat who won't do jack squat to help the working and middle classes, while simultaneously killing off our kids in yet another unnecessary war.
Aren't we supposed to be angry about that?

(8,998 posts)It's hard voting based on anger. And when questions are answered with censorship and blocking, it doesn't reflect well on the candidate. That's Bernie & Hillary in my case.

(19,326 posts)apparently because they can't find a reason to directly attack Bernie, because of
his consistency, integrity and the fact that he's clearly the people's candidate, if
you look at who he will be "beholding to" (i.e. who financed his campaign). Bernie's
broad appeal as a genuine "FDR" kind of guy is difficult to find fault with, so his
supporters "misdeeds" have become the attack-of-choice for Hillary peeps.
no big surprise really, and not a new thing; as it's been going on pretty much
since Bernie started his campaign.

(19,326 posts)rather than discussing and contrasting Bernie v. Hillary positions on issues that
voters actually care about.
Now that Biden's out of the race, and that Bernie has graciously "taken Hillary
off the email hook", I expect the attacks to get ever worse, because they do NOT
want to discuss real issues , or compare donor bases, or anything else because it's
downright embarrassing for them, unless it's gun control of course.

(1,209 posts)by what I like to call snakelike stealth libertarians running around as third way progressive lying sacks of s---. This site, should rename itself, ThirdWayLeftLibertarian.com But with certain nuances from the so called Democratic Party leaders and Hillary herself, the Democratic party like the Republican party is now libertarian.
OP
It is obviously more effort to divide the Democratic vote or at least have large enough numbers of us throw up our hands, sob and weep and rent our garments and stay home.
