2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumMarch 2, 2016: Remarks from Bernie Sanders
Predictive post of Bernie Sanders' remarks on that date:
"Well, Super Tuesday is over and the voters have spoken. Clearly, I did not win enough delegates to hope to become the Democratic nominee for President. Therefore, I am withdrawing from future campaigning in this primary race. I believe that my campaign has moved the Democratic message more toward progressive policies, which was my ultimate goal. It is clear that Hillary Clinton will be the Democratic nominee. I have worked with Hillary Clinton in the Senate and have a great deal of respect for her integrity and sincerity. I believe she will be an excellent President of the United States.
I heartily endorse her for election and hope my many supporters will support her candidacy. I'd like to thank everyone who worked to promote my candidacy in the primary campaign. I've learned much from you, and have the highest regard for your commitment and hard work. Now, I encourage you to work to elect Hillary Clinton and to help elect Democratic candidates to all legislative offices. I will continue to represent you in the United States Senate and will never stop working for the common good. Thank you all!"

OP
Hillariousness is the corporate choice, but I still think 2016 will repeat 2008.

Don't buy lottery tickets. They are a highly regressive tax on poor people.

(20,626 posts)3. Will you share with us your choice in the Minnesota caucus on 3/1/16?
MineralMan
(146,189 posts)5. I've already done that. I will caucus for Hillary Clinton.
I will also be a delegate to our State Senate District convention, where I will also caucus for her. If I am fortunate enough to be a delegate to the state convention, I will do the same there.

HRC won all six debates ahead of time.
