2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumBernie supporter here to say: Hillary did us proud today and put those smarmy POS republidiots...
...squarely in their place.
I can take great comfort knowing that if my candidate does not survive the primaries, then I have a really good candidate to back in the GE, despite those things about her with which I take issue .
Thank you, Hillary. You did good.

(6,409 posts)Since the major media have already named Hillary Clinton as the nominee, based on her performance today, I will go along. It's not that Bernie Sanders isn't a better candidate. He is. It's just that Clinton, like Obama, knows how to handle hostile, aggressive Republicans who think they should run the country by holding fake investigations and slow-walking the phony results in front of the Fox News cameras. The Republicans made such a spectacle of themselves, I expect this will really help her in the general election, too. The GOP is showing itself to be incapable of doing anything except persecuting Democrats.
