(441 posts)I suspect they were just using Black Lives Matter to blast Bernie in the summer but now you never hear about it regarding Hillary. This shows the were just using the issue against Bernie to try to prevent him from making inroads into the AA and Latinos communities.

(13,190 posts)The Congress isn't going to address the issue and spend money and if the Congress stays in the hands of the rethugs and Sanders or Clinton get elected nothing is going to change

Hillary is silent as usual and let's face it her supporters don't care. They want to back a winner and don't care that she's lied, flip-flopped on issues, or just flat out refuses to give us specifics. Nothing is going to change that.

(11,945 posts)It goes like this: the big banks pay H, then H pays her staffers, her staffers write up some policies. So ... her policies are paid for by the big banks. Just like everything else.
That's "presidential."

While this thread languishes after 12+ hours...
You'd think if those screaming loudest were really concerned @ social justice as their primary issue, Hillary's glaring omission would make this OP light up like a wildfire.
Yet, virtual crickets here.
Do they genuinely care about the issue, or is the real goal to smear Bernie Sanders and his supporters. Pretty damn ugly and unfair.
K&R Luminous Animal. I for one, care deeply about the BLM movement and social justice and see Hillary's silence here as troubling.

Hillary couldn't even get the words out. Bernie said "Black lives matter" and then spoke about Sandra Bland.
Hillary probably didn't know who Sandra Bland was. The photo in my sig line is of Bernie with Sandra's mother and sister -- days or weeks before the debate.
