"People Trust Bernie Because He Keeps It 100" ~ Holly Walker

The Nightly Show's Holly Walker on Bernie Sanders, "He keeps it 100." #TheNightlyShow #Bernie2016

That is what people are attracted to. A Politician who is honest, authentic, ethical, doesn't mince words, doesn't worry if someone agrees with him or not, looks for where they can agree.

Not to mention his long, consistent record on all the Major Issues of the past several decades.

And NO ONE stands up to Republicans like Bernie Sanders.

When he reaches across the aisle, and he has, it is to GET SOMETHING from THEM for the PEOPLE.

explain how totally ludicrous and non factual a fantasy that is.

Other than a desperate search to try to find a way to neutralize the REAL EXISTENCE of the Third Way Corporate Think Tank made up of Wall St Investors, for what reason, I cannot even begin to imagine.

Well that's not being completely honest. I do know the reason but it's so ludicrous it is laughable. And laughter is not what you want to evoke when you're on a serious mission.

What does that make Elizabeth Warren then? When one of the Third Way Founders, Cohen I believe, decided to go after Progressive Senator Elizabeth Warren in an Op Ed in the WSJ, waving his Wall St Investor finger at her, telling here 'we have had enough of this' (populism, he was talking about}, I assumed that any doubts about the EXISTENCE of the Thrid Way that has infiltrated our party and how dangerous and opposed to Democratic ideals they are were finally put to rest.

On the good side, at least it is acknowledging they exist. But they surely are not progressive. Lol! Unless you believe in Santa Clause.

Our elected representatives were supposed to be "public servants," who carried out the will of "We The People."

Because of the money in our political system, 99 percent of our politicians are no longer public servants, but can now more realistically be called 'whores'.

forgive a lot to be on the side of the biggest, toughest, authoritarian. Another reason is they are afraid of fighting for freedoms and liberty. They love the comfort of their denial bubble.

32,000,000 American children living in low income homes with 16 million living in poverty, but that takes a back seat to getting a Goldman-Sachs candidate elected. Goldman-Sachs isn't interested in those living in poverty. It's immoral to side with corporate profits over helping those in poverty.

that Bernie is right, which he is of course, they are most likely happening on the advice of her vast army of advisers when it appears that enough people might just abandon her for Bernie.

She can always evolve back again AFTER the election. And most probably will.

Which is why it is imperative that we elect Bernie who will not flip flop on issues as serious as the ones Hillary 'made a mistake' about.

a few years ago.

They get the little people to fight among each other, see Benghazi eg, even rational people are gushing over both sides depending on whether they are a dem or repub. Dems certain Hillary 'won' while Repubs are cheering for their team. Meantime, at the top there are no teams.

And as more and more people realize this, the game isn't as successful as it used to be.

Which is why the largest voting bloc in the country right now are registered Independents. Partisanship is dying, as all sides realize how they were played.

when she associated with Jackson Stephens and sat on the board of Walmart. The joke among some of the professors at the University of Arkansas at the time was that her sitting on the board "was the best of both worlds-- Hillary could rub shoulders with America's Richest Man, and Sam Walton could get practically a direct line to the Governor".

Spending 6 years on the Walmart board, rubbing shoulders with America's Richest Man....

except for the required few, and even on those she has held very conservative views, on every issue that came up regarding Gay Rights eg. And on the tough on crime and Welfare Reform bills she supported so strongly.

Really, is there anything she has been progressive on until it became apparent she might lose an election unless she changed her mind? She has followed on these issues, never led.

Re Arkansas, that sounds reasonable to assume. She has an affinity for the wealthy there is no doubt about that.

It wouldn't have looked too good if she had called herself a Republican, especially in those days when the state, except for the Northwest, was solidly Democratic.
