BREAKING VICTORY: HillaryClinton cuts ties with #?PrivatePrisons, after thousands of Presente members took action. #?VICTORY. This is a victory for more than ten thousand Presente.org members who took action and urged Clinton's campaign to cut ties with this horrible industry, and for thousands of other activists who have demanded that she cut ties with the prison industry. Now it's time for the presidential candidates who still accept private prison money to follow suit and commit to a future where no one is imprisoned for profit: http://act.presente.org/sign/hillaryprisons/

This doesn't change my opinion on Hillary at all. She has no shame or integrity. We can all see through the charade.

(62,325 posts)do this. Her supporters have been denying those ties btw, I wonder what will they say now.
If a candidate has to be FORCED by Bernie and tens of thousands of good, ethical people like him, to do what is right, because it is affecting her campaign, what guarantee do we have that once safely in the WH she won't re-evolve as she has already on the Keystone Pipeline.

I find it very difficult to image incarceration rates going down in her fantasy presidency. She runs on the fact that she is "tough", that she's a "fighter" and she is ready to battle anyone, anywhere.
