Hillary Clinton does not take private prison $$ contributes all private prison donations to charity. (Original Post) JaneyVee Oct 2015 OP
What about her PAC? I suspect we will never know. JRLeft Oct 2015 #1
It says PACs also. JaneyVee Oct 2015 #4

Good for her. I am glad to hear this. Thank you LiberalArkie Oct 2015 #2
That is taking them pipoman Oct 2015 #3
Donating them is more useful. And it probably discourages donations as well. JaneyVee Oct 2015 #5
so by that standard dsc Oct 2015 #10

Now all she has to do is donate her Wall Street, MIC, and big pharma contributions. JRLeft Oct 2015 #6
Then she'd be broke! in_cog_ni_to Oct 2015 #9
That is what concerns me about her, she's industry owned. JRLeft Oct 2015 #15
You should be concerned because she is. Just look at her top donors list. in_cog_ni_to Oct 2015 #18
I am she's a whole subsidiary of multiple industries. JRLeft Oct 2015 #20
Exactly. So, who is she going to work for. The peons or the monied Corporate Donors? Donors! n/t in_cog_ni_to Oct 2015 #23
Do you have a list? JaneyVee Oct 2015 #11
You didn't believe she received money from the MIC. Now you continue to bury your head in the sand JRLeft Oct 2015 #14
Does this mean we can count on her to push to end private prisons? 108vcd Oct 2015 #8
Count on her? artislife Oct 2015 #22
Correction. After everyone noticed she owed fealty to the prison industry, she once again "evolved" Android3.14 Oct 2015 #12
Good to see, though your headline is slanted. Here's a news story about it. thesquanderer Oct 2015 #13
Let me add the fossil fuel industry to that list JRLeft Oct 2015 #17
she must have decided she gets enough other corporate money to live without this one Doctor_J Oct 2015 #19

the candidates. Some big money group can legally set up one "supposedly supporting Bernie" and lambast Clinton and produce TV ads knowing full well that they will turn people away from Bernie and HRC and it would be legal. And there would be nothing Sanders could do about it. We have not seen it yet, but I think we might. It would be a good way for the R's to spend money and pollute the whole primary.

Sanders took money from the Pharma bro man. He gave Sanders a donation which the campaign then gave to an AIDS related charity. On edit I would say that it would be preferable for the contrabutions to be returned not regifted.

It can be said that Bernie Sanders took a donation from that horrible pharma guy.

http://fusion.net/story/220041/hillary-clinton-stops-accepting-contributions-from-private-prison/

So there is a bit of a spin in your headline. It's not so much "does not take" as "will no longer take." Your headline kind of reads as a refutation to the people who have said she has taken it in the past, but in fact, she has, and this is a new position.

BTW, you can still see yesterday's version of the page you reference in the google cache at

http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:bSy9RXXXrYwJ:https://www.hillaryclinton.com/issues/criminal-justice-reform/+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us

so you can see there as well that it was just added today, which is consistent with the fusion article.
