2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumBernie supporters say something nice about HRC. HRC supporters say something nice about Bernie.
We all need to sand together as Democrats.
I will start.
I am a HRC supporter but I have always been a fan of Bernie's. If HRC becomes President I would love to see Sanders as the Secretary of Labor.
If some is wondering why I am posting this again I was asked to repost it in the primaries form.

(31,849 posts)I would, by far, rather see Bernie remain in the Senate, where he can continue his fight, with laser-like focus.

(I just happen to think at this moment America needs someone more like Bernie)

(11,495 posts)So I will say Bernie is a great man, a great Senator, who has work hard for his country and I would have no problem voting for him if he is the nominee.
Hillary did a fantastic job yesterday of showing the county how tough she is and how crazy the republicans really are. I would also have no problem voting for her should she be the nominee.

(14,305 posts)She has a lot of fight in her, which she will need. While I prefer Sanders' positions, I would vote for Hillary if she is the nominee. I just believe Sanders presents a stronger contrast to Trump, and would trounce him ... and have coattails.

(32,342 posts)I'm glad this election is about issues. I lived through some snoozefests, I still don't really know what Dukakis, for example, was supposed to stand for. Hopefully the days of just making political noises and hoping the RW don't dig up a body with your name on are over.

(5,930 posts)I like Hillary Clinton, though, and will enthusiastically support her if she's nominated. She's smart as a whip, and she's tough, knowledgeable, and experienced. I've always had the strong feeling that her heart is in the right place.
