They do tend to be hot.

A surprising number of them are also really, REALLY smart. It may help sell their image if they just shut up and smile, but a lot of them are very smart businesswomen who learn very quickly how to make the most of their hottest commodity (themselves) and how to deal with the relatively short shelf life.
