You never know. Connect with some groups involved and talk it up. Volunteer. Encourage others to volunteer. Go down to Democratic headquarters and help however you can. If you belong to a labor union encourage your leaders and members to get involved. It doesn't have to be for Barack. It can be for other Democratic candidates. Remember that Barack also needs a strong showing in Congress too that sends a message that Republicans need to be willing to discuss the issues and be reasonable. If you can give a little to any candidate that would be helpful too.

There are two ways to get the votes. (1) GOTV (Get out the vote) our people. Especially the ones that didn't vote in 2010. (2) Demoralize the other side so they don't bother voting.

If you don't have a Twitter account set one up and get others connected that you follow and they follow you. Then if you see an item in the media of interest you can tweet it. Or you can reply to others about their tweets. Or you can just tweet something that you think is interesting about politics.

Obama had a record last nite of 52,756 tweets per minute. Over 9 million tweets were sent out using the #DNC2012 as the hash. The RNC had tweets of about 4 million. Michelle had 28,003 tpm. While Romney only had 14,289 tpm.

If Twitter is used properly it can spread like wildfire in some cases better than one on one conversations or by telephone.

I know people are going to hate me for saying that. I believe we will hold Virginia and probably Florida. Along with Ohio that should sink Romney/Ryan
