Related: About this forumPolitico has taken over C-Span. Obama and Romney's speech were good but not great. WTF? Obama was

like Time-Warner, etc....
You are supposed to turn off the television after the speech.....
not listen to them attempting to propagandize the election...
which is all that Politico is good for!

(1,325 posts)I only partially agree- the nitty gritty specifics won't come out in a campaign speech. It's more of a pamplet or website thing these days. You don't want to put your audience to sleep or say you want to do something X way but you won't know the Congressional makeup until the end of the election, so it doesn't make sense to give too many details.
The Yahoo voters were leaning Romney on the speech poll for most of the hour, until after the speech and the Obama votes overtook the Romney votes. I can't find the link to the poll on Yahoo anymore.
