On Sept. 9th, 2008, Intrade put Obama's odds at 50.0 & McCain's at 49.0...



Obama would eventually become the underdog in their numbers for a period of time throughout September as McCain's numbers climbed out of the GOP Convention.

McCain bumbled his response and was so bad he make himself look like a fool. Then there's his running mate who couldn't answer a question without putting her foot up her ass. Obama's response was calm and cool. Yes it was much closer at this point, but the McCain/Palin camp hadn't jump off the cliff yet.
