Bottom line, I think the conventions have gotten a lot of Dems out of the "both sides suck" doldrums

And underscored the gigantic differences between the parties and candidates.

I know they have for me.

That's why I think at least some portion of the DNC "bounce" will not be transient.

I'm not sure what explanation for it is but I do know that members of the Ron Paul cult have always been big on this meme and tend to hide the fact that they're Ron Paul cultists.

That are given time on Tavis Smiley and the Pacifica stations that advise not to vote for Obama. Because of Gitmo and drones and other peripheral shit that they have no clue about anyway. It's horribly misguided and naive. Pretty much the free mumia Abu Jamal people.
