Some Republicans Try Out a New Campaign Theme: Bipartisanship.

A woman who appears in an advertisement supporting Representative Jon Runyan, a New Jersey Republican, boasts about how he works “with both parties.”

Richard E. Mourdock of Indiana, whose Senate campaign has been most notable for his derision of legislative compromise as feckless, now says he would “work with anyone.”

While out and about on the campaign trail, Representative Bobby Schilling, Republican of Illinois, talks so much about all the great things he has done with Representative Dave Loebsack, a Democrat from nearby Iowa, that one would think the two were related.

Partisan obstreperousness, the force that propelled Congressional Republicans to widespread victory in 2010, is suddenly for many of them as out of style as monocles.

In other words, an opportunist. See, him and Loebsack worked together to get some $ for a new bridge in the area (which is desperately needed) but normally, he goes straight party line, i.e. tea party. And Loebsack actually reached out to schilling to begin with.

As the article states, Mourdock won't consider working with anyone. The title of the article should be "Republicans lie constantly and nobody notices".

I'm glad the Republican Party went Extra Extra Conservative just like they put extra extra cheese on a pizza.
In my opinion they haven't gone Extra enough.

Go so far that you start calling people who wear contacts witches & start calling for them to be burned at the stake.
I mean if you're gonna get ridiculous no need to be halfway about it, right?
Say that all women must wear dresses to the ankles & the dresses should be in the colors of black, navy blue, & dark brown.

I wanna see just how backwards they can get before people totally shut them down as a political entity.
When you lose in 2012, Republicans, go Extra Extra EXTRA Conservative!

Mourdock is a Tea Party nut, and Runyan is a former football player who does what he is told.
