I came across this in a rather indirect fashion (looking for A, getting directed to B, seeing C and reading that, forgetting that A even existed). This bit stood out for me, as it accurately described the reactions DUs most vocal feminists seems to bring out in the usual set of high post trolls...
"Once I realized that, I began to see how the show subtly uses peoples casual cruelty to Britta to say more about them than her. Because shes a feminist with a self-righteous bent, the other characters dismiss everything she has to say out of hand, without any regard to whether shes right or wrong, and on those occasions when she does something stupid or awkward, they pounce in order to reinforce their prejudices against her..."

I'm a bit biased as I think Community is the funniest American-produced sit com to have aired. If you get the opportunity, give it a watch and let me know what you think about the show's post-cynical view of race and sex.
