i get called that regularly.

harpie.

i was having a kick ass conversation with 16 yr old, 19 yr old sons. my 21 yr old niece. about me being a hag, a harpie. harpie.

we all decided it was a pretty word. then they had to find the definition. so more conversation. and myths. digress all over the place to return to harpies.

how we are called harpies on du. yet, the kids giving me the definition. you know. flying around and eating sailors.

but kids.... i say. it is not who or what i am, it is what people on du create us as. you betcha. harpies. we literally fly around eating the po men. lol. (ok. so now i am cracklin like a witch. whatever).

can you imagine having an intellectual conversation about myths, harpie, man/woman, today and du.... with these brilliant kids.

so.

i tell them that one of the gals i met up with in colorado springs gave me a picture of harpies, .... art. the kids have all seen it. we love it. we love the stories with such evil smiles of glee.

too funny

(what are we talking about? lol. )

ya. manhater that i am.

meh... i dont get it nor do i need to label it. whatevah....

we also had a conversation how i have no patience at all with stupid. never have.

Used to have a boyfriend that looked a lot like Oates. Obsessive little shit. I dumped him and he pulls a "Streetcar named Desire" Marlon Brandon moment yelling my name outside my window--like I'm gonna come down and talk or something.
